by on March 29, 2011

At last gamers will get to play the final piece of the Mass Effect 2 puzzle – as in order to celebrate its launch today, Bioware have released a new trailer for this last pack of downloadable content for the game, entitled Arrival. Information about the game has been leaking out in drips and drabs, but after the official announcement last week Bioware pushed their marketing machine up to full steam ahead and the game is now available to purchase. The title will reveal more information regarding the imminent Reaper threat, which will come to a head in Mass Effect 3 – as shown by the teaser trailer, which showed us a vision of London devastated by Reaper attack.

In a far-off prison, a Doctor has some important information that could help stop the Reapers in their tracks – but can you reach her in time and prevent the invasion from beginning? As you prepare to step into the boots of Commander Shepherd and once again fight to save the free galaxy, why not gear yourself up for it by watching the video below:

Mass Effect: Arrival is out today on Xbox LIVE Arcade. PlayStation Network and PC. The DLC will cost 560 MS Points on Xbox 360, £5.49 on PlayStation Network and 560 BioWare Points on PC. Check out our full review of the PS3 version here. On top of all of that, we liked the game so much we named it our Game of the Year 2010.
