Dead Island Character Reveal #3 – Logan
The Zombies… are coming. Deep Silver continue the marketing inevitable zombie-like shuffle towards the release date of Dead Island with the third in their series of character profile reveals, as – following on from fellow survivors Xian Mei and Sam B – we meet Logan. Logan is also featured in a series of new screenshots accompanying the reveal, where we see him struggling against the undead hordes, along with several other “living” characters – we can see a boat driver and another holiday-maker helping Logan cut his way through the zombies.
Logan’s bio can be read below:
A former American football star, spoiled by life and successful in every possible way, Logan’s ego finally put an end to his bright future. Taking part in a reckless street race with tragic consequences, Logan not only killed a young woman – his unfortunate passenger; he also fractured his knee, putting an end to his sports career. His fall from stardom inevitably followed and he plunged swiftly into a life of bitterness and despair. In an attempt to get away from the demons hunting him, he gladly takes the chance to experience the beauties and wonders of Banoi. Soon enough though the getaway he was dreaming about turns into a real life nightmare…

Dead Island is due to be released in North America on September 6th and in the rest of the world on September 9th, 2011. The game will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
