Get To Try Out Catherine, Before You Take Her Home
Atlus have a reputation for producing little-known, but very high-quality games. Games like the Shin Megami Tensei Persona RPG series, for instance. Their latest title, Catherine, will be their first foray onto the current generation of consoles, and also marks a departure from their usual role-playing roots. The game will include RPG/adventuring elements, but is predominantly a tower-based puzzle game… with sheep. Our protagonist Vincent is involved in a complex love triangle and at night is haunted by sheep-filled nightmares. Sound like an odd combination? Well if you want to try it out before you purchase it, a demo will be made available in North America on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 from July 12th.

The game hasn’t been given a confirmed European release as of yet, but past Atlus titles have usually come to these shores – albeit quite a long time after the rest of the world. Catherine will get a North American release for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on July 26th.
