UK Charts – Dead Island Enters at Number One

We’ve all been waiting for it, and it appears “silly season” is here in full force, with not one but four brand new games entering the top 10 of the UK Charts. Dead Island seems to have been a roaring success and hits the coveted top spot!

Alongside it though, Resistance 3 also breaks the top ten entering at 4, with Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine in second place. Even Star Fox 3D has a share of the joy, entering at number 9, which is no easy task for a single platform handheld game.

NHL 12 does enter the top 20 on launch week, but EA may not be over the moon about it placing 12th, even if there is some irony to be had from this fact.
