Forza Motorsport 4 Car Park is Amazing

by on October 13, 2011

If you’ve read the GodisaGeek.com review for Forza Motorsport 4, you’ll already have pre-ordered the game, but to celebrate the release, Microsoft set up the Forza Motorsport 4 car park this morning, and we have pictures to show you.

Showing off some of the best cars in the world (and the game), these pictures are pretty much pornography for car enthusiasts. When you’ve finished taking a look at them, you should probably also read our interview with Turn 10 creative director, Dan Greenawalt.

Resembling the 80+ manufacturers available in the game, the Car Park featured a breathtaking A-Z of the greatest car brands in the world from Aston Martin to Zonda. The vehicles were provided by the London Motor Museum, to mark the launch of Forza Motorsport 4 for Xbox 360 on Friday 14th October. To buy the cars outright would cost any budding oligarchs over a staggering eight million pounds. The list of cars include:

  • Aston Martin DBS Coupe
  • Aston Martin Vanquish
  • Audi R8
  • Bentley Continental GT
  • Bugatti Veyron
  • Dodge Challenger 1970
  • Dodge Charger 1969 (Hemi engine)
  • Ferrari 458
  • Ferrari California
  • Ferrari Enzo
  • Jaguar E Type 1961
  • Koenigsegg CCX
  • Lamborghini Galardo
  • Lamborghini Murcielago
  • McLaren F1
  • McLaren Mercedes 2011 SLS AMG
  • McLaren MP4 – 12C
  • Mercedes SLS AMG
  • Pagani Zonda (carbon edition)
  • Pontiac Firebird Transam

London was brought to a standstill as a fleet of supercars worth more than £8.2 million roared into the capital en route to the world’s most expensive car park in Shoreditch. The car park was managed by a special attendant – The Stig from “Top Gear” – and featured four cars worth over £1 million each – a Bugatti Veyron, a carbon Pagani Zonda, a McLaren F1 and a Ferrari Enzo. The event took place to mark the launch of Forza Motorsport 4 on Xbox 360, which now features the Top Gear test track and more. (Jeff Moore/Rosie Hallam/Microsoft; free usage)
