First Look – Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

First Look returns this week to show you footage of the hotly anticipated title Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, which will be released on November 15th. This 14 minute video clip shows you the initial menus and then into the opening footage. The game starts with a reminder of what has happen through the previous releases (therefore there are spoilers in this video if you don’t know the outcome of the past 2 games) and shows off the improved graphics that this title clearly has.

Desmond is in a spot of bother, after his meeting with Juno at the end of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. The meeting has left him in a sort of limbo of the mind, and has been hooked up to the animus in an attempt to try and save him from a brain-dead state. As Desmond awakens inside the animus, he finds himself in a strange world with the constructed memory of Subject 16 trying to help him find his way. To break the shackles of his own mind he has to unlock all of his ancestor’s hidden memories and only then can he be saved from his comatose state. But we can be sure that there will be twists and turns along the way and many questions will undoubtedly be raised.

Our initial impressions are that this is going to be a cracker and will hopefully build up to the next Assassin’s Creed title (although nothing has been announced as of yet), but make sure that you check out our review which will be coming to you in the near future. For now, take a look at the footage and prepare to take the reigns as the master assassin Ezio, possibly for the last time. Enjoy!

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will be available to buy on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on 15th November and will be released on PC on 29th November.
