Rumour Klaxon: Next Call of Duty to Be Called Ghosts and Be Next Gen Only?

Next-Call-of-Duty-Ghosts-Next-Gen-OnlyInformation regarding the next installment in Activision’s Call of Duty franchise has reportedly leaked.

The game will apparently be called Call of Duty: Ghosts and be exclusive to next generation consoles and PC according to YouTube personality Drift0r, who has nearly 290,00 subscribers.

At the start of the video below Driftor cites a source “close to the Call of Duty machine”, saying “This is a person I would quite lieterally trust with my life”.  He also states how he never usually makes these kinds of videos because the information is usually not trustworthy.

Of course we still suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.

The source claims that the game will be set in the future but a plot-point will force players to use weaponry from the present.

Dynamic loading screens similar to those in Tomb Raider will also allegedly make an appearence, replacing loading bars with rapelling from helicopters and other animations.

There will also be changes to movement, with players now able to slide while shooting, role left and right while prone and peek around corners.

However the most intriguing adpect of the supposed leak and the one which sets off the most alarm bells is that Ghosts will only be available for next generation platforms and PC.

It’s very hard to imagine Activision abandoning the current gen so soon, particularly with the world’s biggest gaming franchise.

Driftor also claims that the single player is aiming to include more destructable environments but the team are finding it difficult to implement it in multiplayer.
