Payday 2 Comes to Steam Next Week
Payday 2’s PC release date has been announced by game director David Goldfarb, which was brought to our attention thanks to Joystiq. Goldfarb took to Twitter to make the announcement:

Coming to Steam on August 13, Overkill Software’s heist sequel will be available on other platforms between August 13 and August 16.
Overkill’s Steam announcement was also accompanied by some affection toward their fans:
“A big thank you to our PAYDAY community, to everyone who has helped us beta test the game so far and posted messages online, sent us feedback and told us how much you appreciate our work. We salute you.”
