Sony Show Off Killzone: Shadow Fall Running at “Ultra High Bitrate”

Over on the PlayStation Blog, you can witness what Sony’s next-gen system is truly offering with a video of Killzone: Shadow Fall.

As Guerrilla Games’ technical director Michiel van der Leeuw puts it, there are, “limitations to streamed video on the internet”, therefore, viewers aren’t experiencing the true quality of the next title in the Helghast-heavy series. To get around this, you can download just over a minute of uncompressed 1080p video, at 60 FPS.

Guerrilla recommend viewing this on a media player with hardware acceleration such as Windows Media Player, or Quicktime Player.

No doubt, this is a move on Sony’s part to show off the power of their console after all of the recent Call of Duty: Ghosts talk. You can download the video here and check it out for yourself.
