Not ones to go a week without big news (after the announcement of their arena last week) Gfinity have revealed that they are boosting the prize pool of the upcoming CS:GO Spring Masters I to a massive $50,000.

The announcement was made over on their site earlier today and revealed that first place will now take home $25,000 with 2nd taking $15,000, 3rd taking $7,000 and 4th taking a still respectable $3,000.

Eight teams will compete for the increased prize pool from March 20-22 at the Gfinity Arena. The teams that will attend the first event are: Team EnvyUs, NIP Gaming, Titan, Virtus.Pro, Cloud 9, Gamers2, Team Infused and Team Property. Rounding out the stellar cast for the event is Scott ‘SirScoots’ Smith who will be casting the event, along with all of Gfinity’s CS:GO events this year.

The company also announced details of the first Hearthstone Masters event that they will be holding, featuring a $7,000 prize pool and 16 of the world’s best players. The event will run from March 12-13. You can see more details right here.

Tickets for both events will go on sale soon through the Gfinity website.
