Multiplayer Microtransactions in Halo 5 – Tables Flipped in Halo Community

by on June 19, 2015

It’s fine. Now the dust has settled and everyone feels a bit embarrassed about kicking off because of 343’s Halo 5 announcement, lets go over the facts.
It appears that while you will be able to purchase REQ Packs instead of buying them by earning REQ points for real money, you will be only able to use equipment that provides a cosmetic change in the Arena.
You will be able to use your acquired REQ packs in Warzone but this will be limited and controlled by energy points designed to make sure that players don’t just simply unleash every mega weapon they have bought during the multiplayer session.
There are still a few things that need to be cleared up at the moment in terms of balancing the game for those who purchase and those who don’t. 343 insist that there are no items or weapons locked behind paywalls that cannot be acquired normally through the game.

Now pick that table up. How you are going to explain this mess, I just don’t know Spartan.
