New Fall Out Boy tunes come to Guitar Hero TV

It’s always good to be able to say “hey, this thing is coming to that game you love – and it’s coming right now!”, and that’s what we’ve got with pop-punk band Fall Out Boy, who are massively popular, and are coming to Guitar Hero Live.

GHTV is amazing, though, of that much we’re all in agreement – ok? Part of the service has premium shows which showcase live gigs, and the Fall Out Boy content is in the form of the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas 2015 set, with live versions of Irresistible, Uma Thurman (the song, not the actress, I think), and Centuries (which I think I know!).

Elsewhere, there’s new Premium Show called “Pop Power”, which contains the following tracks:

5 Seconds of Summer – She Looks so Perfect
Sheppard – Geronimo
Sky Ferreira – You’re Not the One

Being an old man, I don’t know who any of those bands are, or what any of the songs sound like, but I love Guitar Hero Live, so I’ll play them anyway. And that is how you buck the system. Rage Against the Machine (Tom Morello from that band features in multiple songs in GHTV, actually) have nothing on me. I mean, I did interview Jamie Jackson, creative director on this game, and can Rage say that? No. They probably can’t.

If you don’t know what Guitar Hero TV is, Colm and I did a video on it, below.
