The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild revealed as a Switch launch title

Nintendo has closed it’s Switch presentation by announcing that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will launch with the console on March 3 and has also released details on three different editions of the game.

A new trailer for the game was also revealed showing a load of new gameplay that features our first look at Zelda and teases both Ganon and the Great Deku Tree. Throughout the trailer Link can be seen journeying through a number of areas and encountering many creatures, both friend and foe, including Gorons, The Rito and shark people that could well be a Zora relative.

Nintendo have also revealed details on three editions of the game, stating “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will provide players with a landmark Nintendo Switch experience on the system’s launch day in March, and will be available as a standard edition, Special Edition and Master Edition. The Special Edition includes the game, a Nintendo Switch Sheikah Slate Carrying Case, Sheikah Eye Collectible Coin, Relic of Hyrule: Calamity Ganon Tapestry and Weather-Worn Map, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sound Selection CD for a suggested retail price of $99.99. The Master Edition includes all of those items plus a Master Sword of Resurrection figure, and has a suggested retail price of $129.99.”
