Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA PC version delayed

NIS America just announced a delay in the PC release of Ys VIII.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA releases on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita this Friday in Europe. It is pretty fantastic. Check out my review here. The PC version was supposed to release on the same day but it has been pushed back to an unannounced date until they improve the quality of the port. Here’s the full statement:

“NIS America has previously announced that the Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA for PC will release in tandem with the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®Vita North American release date on September 12, 2017. We regret to inform fans that the title will be pushed back due to continued efforts to improve gameplay quality. Please stay tuned for an updated release date for the PC version. The North American and European release dates for the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®Vita versions will remain to be September 12 and September 15, respectively.”

The PS4 and PC version of Ys VIII has exclusive content since the PS4 release was later than Vita in Japan. Watch a trailer showing that off below:

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA is available in North America on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. You can preorder the PC version on GOG or if you prefer Steam DRM, get it on Steam.
