It has been confirmed by Treyarch’s co-studio head, Dan Bunting that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode will be available to support up to 80 players when the beta drops next Monday. In an interview with Gameinformer he was keen to point out that this may not be the final total that is used in the main game, as work continues to improve on the experience.
However 80 at the time of the beta launch was felt to be a good level in order for the beta to still provide a solid experience for gamers. It will then use feedback from gamers to improve the experience both for launch and on an ongoing basis thereafter.
