Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order have announced a new expansion pack for Cities: Skylines, titled Industries that will launch on October 23, 2018. The expansion, as the name suggests, will focus on the industrial zone of the game, including more features and options for the player.

Official blurb detailing the expansion below:

In one of the most in-depth expansions in Cities: Skylines history, Industry becomes a larger and more meaningful part of the game with this DLC. Players can build unique factories and customize their industrial areas with supply chains for the four different resource types. Well managed industry areas will level up and become more efficient. Aside from production chains, there is a new city service for handling mail and the cargo airport eases import and export of factory goods. There are FIVE new maps, new policies, new city services, new buildings (including resource extractors, manufacturers, warehouses and unique factories) and more.

Alongside the announcement, there is also a trailer showcasing what’s to come, check it out below:

To coincide with the launch of the Industries expansion, there will also a couple of free extras. The first is a new radio station called Synthetic Dawn Radio, which will feature 16 new tracks for you to enjoy, and there will also be a free update for players adding toll road functionality and the ability to further personalise your buildings and citizens.

Cities: Skylines is out now on PC platforms, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
