Play As A Slugcat In Rain World
Not a day goes by when we don’t hear news of a new indie game, and these days most of them are appearing on crowd-sourcing website, Kickstarter.
The latest is Rain World, a platformer that features an unusual protagonist, along with beautifully animated pixels. Playing as a slugcat, you must survive a harsh environment by collecting enough food for the next hibernation cycle, unaware that other beasts are intending on doing the same thing – Beasts that see you as food.
After three years of development, the folk behind Rain World are looking for help to finish the game’s final leg of development, via Kickstarter. This monetary assistance will help flesh out Rain World into the game it’s developers intended it to be, as well as pay for essential code optimisation and quality assurance.
As you can see from the trailer below, this could be a game worth funding.
