Xbox LIVE Preview Program Taking Submissions
According to Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb (the director of programming for Xbox LIVE), the preview program for the next dashboard update is currently open to submissions.
What this means is that if you apply and are accepted, you will get the latest dashboard software before anyone else and can experience the new shiny Kinect-esque redesign.
It’s worth mentioning that this will NOT get you a Kinect Sensor bar, just the dashboard update that will be rolled out at a later date.
Moreover, you should know that if you apply and are successful then you will only be able to party chat and private chat with other preview program members, so if you play a lot of online games, this might not be for you.
