Launch Trailer Sneaks out for Metal Gear Solid HD CollectionIn anticipation for the impending release of the Metal gear Solid HD Collection, Konami have put together a brand new launch trailer for the title, thatoutlines some of the features that gamers will experience when once again playing through the classic titles included in the collection.

The pack will include HD re-masters of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Also included in the pack are ports of the two original Metal Gear titles; Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. As well as seeing Peace Walker on consoles (rather than handhelds) for the first time, the three MGS games have been converted to High Definition Widescreen format. PSN Trophies and Xbox Achievements have also been added, along with remastered audio and all of the extras found in Substance and Subsistence versions of the games.

We can hardly wait to re-live the games in HD, with all of the additional features and bonuses that we have come to expect from the slightly eccentric mind of Hideo Kojima. Add in the opportunity to earn Achievements/Trophies for some of our favourite titles, and the package is shaping up nicely. Get ready to re-live the history of the Metal Gear Solid series, in a whole new way.

Check out the new launch trailer below:

The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on 3rd February, 2012.
