The Gunstringer Gets Games On Demand Release And New DLC To Boot.
If you missed grabbing the awesome Kinect title The Gunstringer cause your draw was too slow don’t hesitate now. Available right now on Games On Demand is the award-winning western themed marionette based Kinect shooter for 29.99 USD (prices may vary internationally). The Gunstringer originally was just going to be a XBLA title but got a full retail release after Twisted Pixel impressed the fine folks at Microsoft with this quirky and fun shooter. The game come full circle with a digital release and is really one of the best games to show off how cool your Kinect really is.
In celebration of the Games On Demand release, Twisted Pixel has also released some brand new DLC to give fans a reason to pull out the old sidearm. El Diablo’s ‘Merican Adventure is a brand new story in which you play as the titular character El Diablo, Lord of the Underworld. Like most epic stories a woman is involved and El Diablo has come up from the Underworld to claim a Queen to rule at his side.
Of course what would any story be without something to stand in your way and this game is fully loaded with some interesting enemies.Watch out for gun toting bandits and pistol packing prostitutes as you seek a lady to ride into the sunset with. El Diablo is packing some heat with his guitar-shotgun so you should have a blast with this DLC and at only 240 MSP you end up making out like a bandit. Our own Adam Cook has called The Gunstringer “utterly essential” if you own a Kinect and I have to agree. This time you don’t even need to leave your house to get it, just make sure you have a good trigger finger ready.
