Aliens: Colonial Marines Release Date + New Trailer

SEGA and Gearbox Software have announced a release date for Aliens: Colonial Marines, sadly though it’s in 2013.

OK for those of you keeping track, that’s BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider, South Park, and now Aliens, all delayed into 2013 in the last few weeks. It’s not all doom and gloom though, with so many games releasing in fall the recent delays just mean we’ll still have something to play when New Year rolls around.

Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software had this to say:

“I am thrilled to announce the definitive launch date for Aliens: Colonial Marines. Colonial Marines is the culmination of a life-time of inspiration from the films and relentless passion and drive from the exceptionally talented development team behind the scenes.”

To celebrate (or compensate for, depending on your point of view) the announcement, Gearbox have released a brand-new trailer for the game.

Aliens: Colonial Marines will launch on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, worldwide on Feburary 12th 2013. The Wii U release date is yet to be confirmed.
