The battle for football supremacy in video games rages on. Konami has released a teaser video showcasing the modified FOX engine they’re using for Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 – which we saw thanks to Polygon.
Back in March, it was revealed that Konami’s Winning Eleven would be utilising the engine, moving on from their previous one which was in use since the good ol’ days on PlayStation 2.
As FIFA have a lot of the Western teams, players and leagues mopped up, it was clever move for PES to go after the AFC Champions League, just over a month ago.
Expect more Pro Evo talk at Konami’s pre-E3 show on June 6. Until then, watch the video below. The most impressive thing is the crowd, in my humble opinion.
