Sony Registers The Order: 1886 and The Last of Us Sequel Domains
They’re either planning ahead, or really confident. Either way, Kotaku’s resident PI Superannuation has discovered that Sony privately registered theorder1886.com, theorder1886.net, theordergame.net, theorderps4.com, and theorderps4.net through SCE’s American domain registrar. This would imply that the previously rumoured title from Guerrilla Games is actually being developed in the States.
As well as that, lastofus.com, lastofus2.com, and lastofus3.com have also been registered. So, if all goes to plan for Naughty Dog and Sony come June, it looks like Joel and Ellie’s game could become a franchise.
However, all of this is rumour at this point – of course.
