Konami Announce Star Wars Card Battling Game
In a surprising announcement, Konami has announced that they are bringing Star Wars: Force Collection – a licensed card battling game – to iOS and Android devices on September 4.
With a rich universe of over 200 characters and vehicles spanning all six Star Wars movies, and the promise of “global player events”, this free download looks like it could be very interesting indeed. Tomoyuki Tsuboi, President of Konami Digital Entertainment was on hand for a few words:

Konami’s proven capabilities in mobile game development and publishing, particularly in the card battle genre, are the perfect fit for Star Wars, and we’re very pleased to bring this new experience to players around the globe.”
