Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Release Date Announced

Today has not been a good day for me, in fact its safe to say it has been a rubbish day however around 15 minutes ago I checked my emails and found this gem waiting for me. Two minutes and 16 seconds later I’m sat here with a massive smile on my face, with a new positive attitude and I generally feel good, all because of the brand new trailer for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

The trailer is hilarious, like laugh out loud even though I’m sat in a room on my own hilarious. Perhaps the highlight is the moon break dance that was co developed with Harmonix.

2K had this to say about the collaboration on the trailer.

“Claptrap’s wub wub dance moves in the Borderlands 2 “Doomsday Trailer” were so awesome, that 2K and Gearbox wanted to find a way to top them, knowing that it would be tough task. And the only way to do that, was to work with Harmonix to make an even awesomer, moon dance sequence just for this trailer.”

2K also announced that Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will launch on October 17th in the UK. I probably should have started with that, but hey at least you now know how awesome the trailer (which you should totally watch below) is.

Anyone who pre-orders Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will gain access to the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit bonus content which takes place in an old Dahl facility on Pandora’s moon. Players will meet TR4-NU, who is hosting the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit and giving awesome loot to those who succeed against the moon’s toughest enemies
