Yanim Studio Release New Trailer for Upcoming Red Goddess

by on February 2, 2015

Spanish Indie developer Yanim Studio has released new screenshots and a trailer for their upcoming 2.5D platformer Red Goddess.

In the game you play as the titular Red Goddess Divine who is haunted by repressed memories of her past. Something is destroying her from the inside out and the only way to stop it is to explore inside her own mind and memories.

In a nod to Supergiant Games’ Bastion you are accompanied on your journey by a narrator, a mysterious being that understand the secrets you’re trying to uncover.

Divine is helped on her way by two parts of her personality, Rage and Fear. Both of which can be worn as a mask and grant Divine new powers with which to fight through the levels.

Yanim Studio has brought to us titles such as Deadlight, Wanted: Weapons of Fate and Risen. Red Goddess sounds very interesting. I’ll be keeping an eye out for it as we get closer to launch.

The game is due in April 2015 on PC, Mac and Playstation 4 with WiiU and Vita versions later.
