N64 and Original DS Titles Coming to Virtual Console
Nintendo 64 and original DS games are coming to Wii U via virtual console.
Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, Mario Kart DS and Wario Ware Touched will be the first wave of titles, available now. As an introductory offer, if you buy three of them, you get the other free, which seems fair.
Yoshi’s Island DS and Paper Mario are coming some time in the future.

Normally I'll be sinking my time into the latest RPG, but I'll play almost anything, with racing games a particular favourite. Owner of a Wii U, I have no regrets purchasing the console, though Smash Bros. hasn't left the disc tray since Christmas.
