Respawn have delayed Titanfall plans to work on Apex Legends

Respawn Entertainment have announced that they are delaying any Titanfall plans to concentrate on future seasons of Apex Legends.

“[Regarding] other games in development at Respawn, it is important to understand that there are entirely separate development teams working on Apex Legends and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order,” Apex Legends executive producer Drew McCoy wrote in a blog post. “Additionally, in order to fully support Apex Legends, we are pushing out plans for future Titanfall games. No resources from the Apex Legends team are being shifted to other titles in development here at the studio, nor are we pulling resources from the team working on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.”

We didn’t have much idea of what Titanfall game was being worked on other than it wasn’t going to be Titanfall 3 and that it wasn’t a VR title but whatever it is we’ll need to wait a bit longer for it now.
