Today, Mail.ru Group has announced a brand new international gaming brand, MY.GAMES. The brand will be developing and publishing a host of new games, such as upcoming titles Lost Ark and Conqueror’s Blade, as well as a mobile release for the popular esport title Warface. All gaming projects previously published under the Mail.ru Group in Russia and My.com internationally will now be under the MY.GAMES brand.
Mail.ru’s gaming division took in excess of $100 million in Q1 of this year, and in 2018, 63% of its revenue came from international markets, making MY.GAMES one of the top 50 global gaming companies in the world by revenue. MY.GAMES currently has 60 active games, with more than 150 titles across PC, mobile, and console, with a staggering 540 million players registered, and with 13 in-house development and publishing studios made up of 1,500 employess worldwide, MY.GAMES is going from strength to strength.
“Over more than a decade, we’ve grown from a local developer into an international company that develops and publishes games, creates gaming services, holds large-scale esports tournaments and festivals, and invests in promising gaming projects,” said Vasily Maguryan, MY.GAMES Managing Director. “We’re launching MY.GAMES to unite our existing portfolio and refresh our thinking. To coincide with the launch of MY.GAMES, there were several other announcements, one being the European launch date for Conqueror’s Blade, coming on June 4, 2019. The new brand will be arranging and developing gaming festivals, esports tournaments, and its own gaming and media platforms.
