The eternal war between the Horde and the Alliance continues. Or rather, it is reignited in WoW Classic, with PvP Battlegrounds now available in 10v10 Warsong Gulch and 40v40 at Alterac Valley.
To join the fight at Warsong Gulch, you will need to be at least level 10. Visit the battlemaster in one of the capital cities to queue, or if you’re part of the Horde you can go directly to the battleground at the Northern Barrens, or Alliance folk should make the journey to Ashenvale, to get into the Capture the Flag arena.
Players will be matched in brackets, depending on level, like this:
If you’re more interested in the 40v40 battles for control at Alterac Valley, you’ll need to be at least level 51. Queue at your local battlemaster’s location, or head into the Alterac Mountains.
You and your team will need to coordinate to meet both PvE and PvP objectives to win. You’ll control key locations such as mines, towers, and graveyards, which will help you push further into the map toward the main objective—the opposite faction’s general Vanndar Stormpike for Alliance and Drek’Thar for the Horde. You can make this task easier for you and your team by destroying enemy towers and killing the elites guarding the generals.
If you fancy a bit of PvP action in WoW Classic, now’s your chance. PvP Battlegrounds are available now.
