Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 bringing Christmas cheer in Title Update 6.1

by on December 5, 2019

Ubisoft has announced that the Title Update 6.1 for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will be available from December 10. With the update, you’ll be able to to play the Situation: Snowball event, featuring Washington D.C.’s most elusive enemies wearing bright red Santa hats. If you manage to take down these Christmas fiends, you’ll earn an exclusive weapon that fires snowballs. You’ll also be able to get your own Santa hat if you log in between December 10 and January 7.

Along with the Situation: Snowball event, TU 6.1 will include The Silent Night apparel event, bringing a dark winter theme, and an Apparel Cache featuring 35 new apparel items to collect. All players who log into The Division 2 during the event will receive one free key, with Year One Pass holders earning an additional three keys as a bonus. If you’re full of Christmas cheer, you’ll be able to purchase Apparel Event caches and send them directly to friends and clan members as a gift.

In addition, a beta version of the new Hardcore Mode will be part of Title Update 6.1. In this new mode, death is permanent, making the entire The Division 2 campaign the ultimate challenge for Agents. Since there is no chance to respawn, Division Agents must be tactical and careful to see how far they can get.
