Mel Gibson’s Brother Interested in Mad Max Lead Role
The film Mad Max originally released back in 1979. Popular Australian actor Mel Gibson was made into a star because of his performance as Max Rockatansky. Now, it appears that his brother wants to carry on the family tradition.
Appearing in just a spattering of projects, Donal Gibson doesn’t have quite the illustrious CV that brother Mel does. However, the younger of the two Gibsons and Urban Legend (remember that slasher movie?) director Jamie Blanks contacted AusGamers (via Polygon) about Donal’s enthusiasm for Avalanche Studios’ upcoming title.
You can check out a demo that Donal Gibson recorded over on AusGamers and to be fair, it is right on the money. Avalanche are yet to comment on this, but this just seems like a perfect fit and an opportunity that they should at least consider.
Mad Max is scheduled to be released next year on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
