Capcom might have been having some disappointing financial results lately, but that hasn’t stopped them from going full steam ahead and heavily backing the new original IP title: Dragon’s Dogma.
The game is combines the creative forces of Hiroyuki Kobayashi – who has previously produced on Resident Evil 4 and Devil May Cry 4, and Hideaki Itsuno – Director of both Devil May Cry 3 and 4. In a departure from the quasi real-world settings of their previous games, Dragon’s Dogma is more of a traditional Fantasy tale, set in a world where the general populace is terrified of their Dragon Overlords, but a group of heroes steps up to face them head-on. You will, of course, be one of those heroes – and you will help change the destiny of the land.
The game looks very promising, and if you wish to get a taster for yourself, the demo for the game is now live on Xbox LIVE for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation Network on PlayStation 3. Prepare to wage war on the Dragons!
