Guild Wars 2 Halloween Event Starts Tonight
As we reported on it last week, NCSOFT will have a special Halloween event ready for the fans of its highly acclaimed MMORPG, Guild Wars 2.
Of course, on a normal MMORPG, one might say that an update or event like this might not be that big of a thing but with Guild Wars 2’s sales records, this surely will be a great event and maybe thanks to NCSOFT and ArenaNet this year, you won’t be tricked that much as a lot of kids will sit home playing Guild Wars 2 instead of trowing eggs onto your roof or toilet paper on your trees. The event will be called the Shadow of the Mad King and just to peak the interest of some of you even more, here’s a brief background story about this strange Mad King for you.
500 years ago, a tyrannical Krytan king was slain by his own people, those who had suffered greatly during his reign of lunacy. It is said that this king’s body was chopped into pieces, and his spirit was banished to the Underworld, but that he can return to the mortal realm for just one day a year: on Halloween.
The event will start tonight at 02.00 (so that’s 2 am, UK time) until 1st November and it will be broken down to four acts.
