Call of Duty: Ghosts Revealed At Xbox One Event

by on May 21, 2013

Activision Blizzard took to the stage at Microsoft’s Xbox One reveal event to show us hairy arms, AI fish and a motion capture dog called Henry*.

Also, Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Taking up more time than any of Microsoft’s own first party titles (of which there were  two) the world premiere consisted of a developer diary and an actual trailer.

Infinity Wards’ latest concerns the aftermath of a mysterious apocalyptic event, with America’s only hope in the face of a new superpower being a group of soldiers known as the Ghosts.

Despite the talk of underwater AI improving a fish’s ability to get out of your way and lots of close up of hairy arms and dirty fingernails, the most exciting prospect seems to be the inclusion of dynamic maps in the game’s multiplayer.

HDR lighting and increased detail were all hyped up with giant floating heads doing what they do best.

You can watch the reveal trailer below…

*We don’t know if he’s called Henry, but he might be.
