Ico And Shadow Of The Colossus HD Given Release Date

After the news back in April that The Ico and Shadow Of The Colossus HD makeovers, as well as follow-up The Last Guardian, had all been delayed – many gamers were left wondering when they would get to play any of these Fumito Ueda games. The Ico and Shadow Of The Colossus re-releases were meant to be released in Spring 2011. Well fret no longer, as Sony Computer Entertainment have now given a confirmed Japanese release date for the two games. They will release on 22nd September, both individually and as part of a limited edition double-pack.

Ico and Shadow Of The Colossus HD will be released in Japan on September 22nd. There are no North American or European release dates as of yet. The games will be available for purchase individually or as part of a limited edition box that comes with both games as well as a special booklet compiled by looking at game creator Fumito Ueda, his previous games, and his upcoming title, The Last Guardian.
