Plants Vs. Zombies Wages War On Windows Phone

After the Dead Island update, here is some more zombie-themed news for your delectation. PopCap Games can proudly announce the global launch of the smash-hit game Plants vs. Zombies for Windows Phone 7. It will be a part of the Must Have Games promotion that Microsoft are running, on Xbox LIVE for Windows Phone. It is available right now at the price of £3.99 and will allow phone users to compare leaderboard scores with Xbox 360 users over Xbox LIVE, whilst also allowing for the players to earn Xbox LIVE Achievements.

Andrew Stein, senior director of mobile platforms at PopCap Games, states that: “Our support of Xbox LIVE on Windows Phone is an important move given the mobile gaming capabilities and reach of this powerful operating system… Plants vs. Zombies for Xbox LIVE on Windows Phone will push the boundaries of mobile gaming, tying directly into Xbox LIVE leaderboards and achievements to provide a more competitive experience for gamers on-the-go. Plants vs. Zombies for Xbox LIVE on Windows Phone includes:

– All Mini-Games from the Original PC Version

– Vasebreaker and iZombie Modes (first appearance on any mobile platform)

– Xbox LIVE Connection for Tapping into Leaderboards and achievements (leaderboards offered for select game modes, including Adventure, iZombie and Vasebreaker.)

– English, French, Italian, German & Spanish Language Support
