Who is the Ultimate James Bond?

by on December 6, 2011

Who is the Ultimate James Bond?We all have our favourite Bonds. Throughout the years, we’ve found ourselves attached to certain people that played the most famous MI6 agent in the world. My personal favourite is Pierce Brosnan. He’s Irish…we have to stick together! To coincide with the release of GoldenEye 007: Reloaded for PS3 & 360 and Robin’s review of the game, we have some pointless, yet entertaining facts about the world’s second most famous loverat…Darren Day being number one obviously.

Recently, some research was commissioned to find out who is THE James Bond. When the dust settles and when all is said and done, who is number one? There were of course some certain criteria and below the findings on 007. Only the big hitter in each category is listed.

• Sean Connery, You Only Live Twice (4)

Roger Moore had some disparaging words for Daniel Craig’s portrayal of Bond recently and maybe he’s right. Roger does make a strong claim for the ultimate Bond as he’s top in many categories. But, the star of Dragonheart – Sean Connery – surely must be considered THE Bond as he leads the charge in the majority of criteria.

Some may not have been happy with Daniel Craig replacing Pierce Brosnan in 2010’s GoldenEye 007, but you can all rest easy. Brosnan has the most kills in any one film. Badass.

Goldeneye 007: Reloaded is out now for Xbox 360 & Playstation 3.
