With every passing day, it seems like someone’s showing off some new engine, or tech that looks more impressive than the last.
Nvidia’s research lead for PhysX has uploaded a video to YouTube which shows off their new “dynamic fracture” tech.
The video, which you can see below, shows an old building get absolutely obliterated in real-time. With every mouse click, rubble and dust flies everywhere and it’s genuinely fascinating.
It’s running on a solo GTX 680 at 30 frames per second, with more improvements coming in the future, apparently.
