Rayman Legends to Hit PS Vita

Rayman Origins remains one of the finest platformers around, and there was no better version of it in our humble opinion than the killer PS Vita version, which practically burst from the OLED screen and had some lovely touch-screen extras, without over-egging the pudding.

Terrific news then, that the forthcoming Rayman Legends is also coming to the Vita, something we gleaned from Ubisoft’s announcement. The PS Vita version will include all of the Rayman Legends content you’d expect, as well as five exclusive maps. Vita owners can play as Murphy, the fly, controlled using the Vita’s rear touch pad.

But there’s more, Vita owners will also get two exclusive costumes, so Rayman can throw on a Prince of Persia outfit, whilst Globox gets to look like something from Splinter Cell.

The PS Vita version will be releasing on August 29 in US and August 30 in the UK. It’s also coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360. Oh, and Wii U, best not forget that version, eh…
