Google Working On Android-powered Games Console?
The Wall Street Journal have today reported that Google are working on an Android-based games console, as well as an uber-futuristic sounding Android-powered internet wristwatch. Talk is that Google are doing this to pre-empt a similar move by Apple, whose iOS 7 is due to hit soon, with CEO Tim Cook already making noises about “wearable technology”.
Google plan on marketing these devices themselves, which means they will be in direct competition with other Android-based gadgets such as the recently launched Ouya and PlayJam’s Gamestick.
