Last week, Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb aggressively unboxed Microsoft’s next-generation system and forgot to show off one integral thing..BATTERIES!
Yes. Fear not, launch day adopters or parents on the morning of December 25, for The Major’s got you covered and has included two AAs for your brand new controller:

Pardon me for thinking this was a given with the price of the console. Was confirmation really needed? I guess it was, otherwise The Major wouldn’t need to speak up.
I must admit that it pains me, in 2013, Xbox One’s controllers will still need batteries rather than have some form of internal battery that charges through a USB cable. Y’know, the way technology is.
