Xbox One Launching Some Time After November 8
Yesterday, November 8 was heavily rumoured as the release date for Microsoft’s next-generation hardware. That has proven to be false, but the illusive date has been narrowed down.
A source close to Microsoft has spoken with Kotaku (who posted the original rumour), informing them that the console will not be launching in any territory on November 8, or any date prior. So, by process of elimination, we know that Xbox One will be coming somewhere between November 9 and November 30.
The November 5 date seemed perfect for them with the Call of Duty: Ghosts tie-in and Sony have November 15 mopped up, so would Microsoft go a week later? Or, would they be so daring as to release their system on the exact same day that Sony is launching the PS4 in North America? Now, that would be interesting.
