Lindsey Stirling Pokémon Cover is Nostalgia Inducing

Prolific cover artist, Lindsey Stirling, has teamed up with a fellow You Tuber to create a dubstep homage to the classic Pokémon TV theme.

Working with Kurt Hugo Shneider, the duo perform a somewhat slide-tastic, but ultimately enjoyable rendition of the classic melody.

It also features a man in what must be the most unconvincing Pikachu outfit ever. It’s one of Lindsey’s more entertaining videos, even if the production values appear somewhat lower.

Lindsey Stirling has produced numerous video game covers. From her seminal Legend of Zelda medley, to Assassin’s Creed, Halo and Skyrim, her covers are of frequent high quality.

She’s not just a cover artist mind. With an album already out and performing sell out tours, Ms. Stirling is a true You Tube bred phenomenon. You can keep track of her antics via her website, but for now, here’s the Pokémon.
