Gran Turismo 6 GPS Mode Detailed

Gran Turismo 6 will feature more than 1200 cars that you can race on 100 tracks, including Silverstone, Goodwood and Mount Panorama.

The update on PSBlog also mentions improved online functionality, and that the game features a brand new physics engine.

Perhaps more interesting than these facts is the ‘upcoming’ GPS logger, which will allow you to create a track through a combination of your phone or tablet and GT 6.

A future update will add this feature which allows you to create circuits from your own journeys. How far you can go remains to be seen, but it would be fun to see how fast you could get to work if traffic didn’t exist.

With Drive Club delayed Playstation fans will have to stick with GT for their car fix. It’s fortunate then, as you can see in the trailer below, that it’s looking quite good indeed…
