DOTA 2 Now Accessible Instantly

by on December 17, 2013

Valve has removed the need to join a queue in order to gain access to DOTA 2. Players can now download the game and start playing instantly, well after they have downloaded the game reports Eurogamer.

Previously players were forced to join a queue of other people in order to gain access to the game, which could have taken weeks. But server upgrades mean that hopeful players should now be able to join the 6.5 million other players, who log into the game every month, whenever they wish.

In order to play DOTA 2 all you need to do is head on over to the Steam page for the game and click on the Play Game button, after the install is complete you are free to enter the world of DOTA and probably get destroyed in your first game. Quick tip: complete the tutorials and play some games against bots before you even consider going into a public game, and for the love of god please do not play Meepo… EVER!
