Book Of Unwritten Tales 2 Kickstarter Vastly Exceeds Goal

With Kickstarter being the way to get your games financed these days, it’s good to report another successful crowdfunding project. This time around it’s for KING Art Games’ The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, a sequel to the PC fantasy point-and-click game.

Not only has this Kickstarter reached it’s $65,000 goal, it’s reached it’s second stretch goal of $145,000, with 17 days still remaining. This total now means that the developers will be hiring a real orchestra to record the games’ soundtrack, as composed by Benny Oschmann.

As for the game itself, it’s inspired by the Sierra and LucasArts games of old and features 20 hours of old school point-and-click adventuring in a fantasy setting, featuring an ensemble of four playable characters in a series of beautifully drawn locations.

With the original game being well-received, hopes are high for this sequel, which will be released on PC, Mac and Linux.
