MotoGP 14 and YEBIS 2 Engine

MotoGP 14 developers; Milestone will be utilizing the YEBIS 2 middleware from Silicon Studio for the upcoming release. YEBIS 2 will be used to allow game developers to improve graphic quality while not having to sacrifice valuable development resources. Andrea Basilio, Game Director Milestone says:

“YEBIS 2 has enabled our development team to fine tune our visual effects to true next-gen quality levels. Our aim with MotoGP 14 is to bring the most true-to-life superbike racing experience ever seen and using the YEBIS 2 middleware enabled us to achieve the finest optical effects. In short, YEBIS 2 fine-tuned our visuals enabling the dev team to fine tune the gameplay to perfection as you can see from the comparison screen we’ve recently released.”

MotoGP 14 will have a new audio engine, new real-time lighting effects and incredible graphic details. It will be available in June 2014, on Xbox 360, Windows PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and on PlayStation 4.
