Resogun Update: Ship Editor, Local Co-op & Trophies

by on June 23, 2014

Ian Pickles, Producer at XDEV Studio Europe has come out with details on Resogun’s forthcoming update, which will be laying the ground work for the anticipated Heroes expansion. The update contains some new features for players.

  • Ship Editor: You will now be able to create your own ship to use in the game. Using a detailed voxel editor, you now have the ability to play how you want, with your own ship, placing the afterburners and weapons where you like and then setting your own attributes. You can also share and download ships from your friends and everyone else in the community.
  • Local Co-op: Now, you can play Resogun with your friends, thanks to the new addition of local Co-op.
  • Trophies: There is nothing quite like obtaining trophies when enjoying a great game, and now, you can do that again. The team have added more trophies for players to work for.
  • Hall of Fame: After finding some exploits in the game, the team decided to try patch these up, also resetting the leaderboards to keep it fair. For original scores, they will not be lost forever, thanks to the addition of the Hall of Fame. All scores in the Main Hero difficulty leaderboard will be forever displayed here to show future generations the level of skill.

The update is available right now, for free, and contains all of these new features. The Heroes expansion will be available to download, next week.
