by on December 9, 2014

This past weekend saw the final Intel Extreme Masters event of the year take place in San Jose, where the biggest and best League of Legends and Star Craft II players battled it out for a share of the prize pool.

The League of Legends tournament saw Cloud 9 beat paiN Gaming and Alliance on their way to the final while there opponents Unicorns of Love emerged victorious over Lyon Gaming and Team SoloMid to reach the final. Cloud 9 were somewhat dominant in the final taking the best of 5 series 3-0.

The StarCraft II event was an all Korean final, which was no surprise as the only non-Korean player was Snute who was knocked out in the first round! HerO and Rain were the two who made it to the final, with HerO eventually taking the best of 7 series 4-3.

You can see loads of video content from the event over on the IEM website.
